Arts & Culture Leadership Workshop: ADVOCATE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE CREATIVELY THROUGH THE ARTS

ADVOCATE FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE CREATIVELY THROUGH THE ARTS

An Arts & Culture Leadership Workshop

With support from the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture* (www.usdac.us), together we are hosting an interactive workshop where artists and activists are invited to come together and engage in an artistic experience of community building. We will explore our current social justice projects, raise awareness on issues in the Atlanta region, identify ways we can use arts and culture as a way to community engagement, and to use our collective imagination to build ideas where arts activists work together to create a more just and equitable community.

Expect to learn about the national and local efforts facilitated by the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture and see successful actions that bring attention to critical issues facing communities. Access to free toolkits, templates, and resources will be made available to participants.
