October 7th—June 27th (2022)

Date details +
    Room: Decatur
    In-Person - Main Shrine Room

The Sadhana of Mahamudra is one of the first practices that the Vidyadhara, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, encouraged his students to do, and has a number of important characteristics. This sadhana is a binding factor for our community because students at all levels of practice can participate and receive a true experience or understanding of the spiritual path. Its essential teaching is that the nature of the practice itself undercuts any ideas of spiritual materialism. The practice consists of meditation and chants, and lasts about an hour. It is offered monthly on the new moon.

In accordance with CDC guidance, please wear a mask in the community room and until the Sadhana begins.  Depending on the number of participants, there is a possibility that masks may need to be worn during the Sadhana.  It is ultimately up to the umdze and the participants to decide that before the Sadhana starts.  Thank you!
