Friendsgiving Dinner
In college we used to call this Orphan's Thanksgiving for our friends who couldn't go home to be with family. Now we call it Friendsgiving and it's for those of us who want to enjoy this feast of gratitude with our community of extended family at the Atlanta Shambala Center.
We will provide the turkeys. You bring the sides to share. We need mashed potatoes, dressing, casseroles, rolls, beverages and whatever traditions you want to to share. Please register and let us know what you plan to share.
We will open on Thanksgiving at 11:30 am and eat at 1pm. Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. This has become a wonderful convivial tradition at our center and is always a lot of fun.
If you have questions please contact Edwin at [email protected] / 770-309-0275. Feel free to also bring a canned good that we will donate to a local food bank.
Please register here.
