    Harvest of Peace is our annual celebration of the autumn equinox. Everyone is invited to come together to celebrate abundance!

    11:30 Center presentation – a short update on the state of our union and an inspiring talk about generosity!

    11:45 Poetry presentation - Members of our Shambhala Arts community, organized by Tommy Housworth and Edwin Ashurst, will share selections from poets such as Mary Oliver and Walt Whitman, whose work speaks to the transformative majesty of nature. This brief reading will serve as a preview of our upcoming series of themed arts events, including the return of “A Christmas Carol”, an evening of Mary Oliver poems, and a night of Buddhist-inspired stories and poems. 

    12:15 The Art of Liberated Innocence – BJ Honeycutt will lead us in a series of playful activities to experience how we might approach our creative abilities with a fresh perspective, both as individuals and as a community. We will look at art through the eyes of innocence.  No age limit and No experience required.

    12:45 Potluck lunch

    1:15 Raffle drawing - $20 a ticket for a seat at one of our upcoming weekthuns – winter with Ashe Acharya John Rockwell or spring with Hope Martin.
